After reading ‘Legendary’ by David Suzuki I came to terms the universe didn’t revolve around me. Yes I a grown woman thought like most of us do but won’t admit, that my actions had no real consequence and my being was in the world not part of it. Then there were times of self-loathing I shrunk my confidence down to the belief I was so insignificant that I had no real purpose and I could never change the world.
I had a scintillating surmise that what I was missing was internal. Self-love enables us to exude love. We can then understand this Law of Divine Oneness. It dawned on me the world wasn’t happening to me. The world is a part of me.
It’s a connection we have together like David Suzuki said…
“Every breath is a sacrament, an affirmation of our connection with all other living things, a renewal of our link with our ancestors and a contribution to generations yet to come. Our breath is a part of life’s breath, the ocean of air that envelopes the earth.”
Now when I look to the sky and see the synchronicity of the flying birds I know I too am part of that movement. When I see the growth of my flowers I then notice the growth in me. Knowing during the rain when the wind blows not only on me but the trees, puddles, and everything that surrounds me.
